The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications
The younger of the two professional and learned societies for mathematicians in the UK. Its mission is to promote mathematics in industry, business, the public sector, education and research.

MacTutor history of mathematics
An index of biographies of over 1300 mathematicians from 1680 to the present day.
