Potential employees with GCSE or A Level maths will be numerate, will possess the ability to think rationally and to process data clearly and accurately, and will be confident when it comes to dealing with any of the numerous situations which can arise and which require a mathematical solution—whether dealing with finances, stocktaking, or simply drawing up work rotas.
