Events

NSPCC National Number Day: be part of the biggest maths fundraising event ever on 4 December 2008

The event is held by the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) and is a great opportunity to get pupils to enjoy maths and raise money for the NSPCC and ChildLine.


The big science read weekend (24-26 October 2008)
Organised in partnership with the Manchester Science Festival, Jodrell Bank and Time to Read, this event will host a series of readings, debates and workshops exploring the overlaps between literature and science.

The Story of Maths (a four part TV series)

Professor Marcus du Sautoy escorts viewers on a journey that takes him through the ages and around the world, to Egypt, China, India, Russia, The Middle East, Europe and America.


Exhibition at the British Museum: BABYLON (13 November 2008 - 15 March 2009)
